Chief Executive Officer
Rick Barnes
Rick Barnes is a seasoned insurance professional with 27 years of experience in the industry. Rick is responsible for the day to day operations of our Company and our national career distribution network. He has a proven track record of success in recruiting, training, and developing hundreds of agents and managers. Rick is a proud member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and holds the prestigious Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rick is a devoted father to his three daughters and lives in Charlotte, NC. He sold his agency in 2010 and went on to develop the “blueprint for success” training system. He started his insurance career with ING in 1995 and has never missed a convention.
When he’s not working, Rick enjoys playing golf and traveling. He is an avid college football fan and supports the University of Georgia. He also played college baseball. After he sold his agency, he was consulting managers across the nation, waiting for the right time to launch Med Life Financial.

Eric Lewis
Eric Lewis is a highly experienced insurance professional with 25 years in the industry. Eric will lead the effort to both grow our agent base and develop our pool of managers. He is married to Kim and has five children. Eric resides in Cedartown, GA, where he enjoys an active lifestyle and a close-knit community.
Eric’s background in sports, particularly baseball at Augusta College and football at Carson Newman, has shaped his competitive nature and drive for success. He is also an avid scratch golfer, which helps him to relax and recharge outside of work.
Throughout his career, Eric has focused on recruiting, training, and building insurance agencies. He spent 13 years with Bankers Life and Casualty as a Branch Manager, where he hired and trained over 500 agents all over the southeast. Eric has a strong background in annuities and life insurance, and he takes pride in building relationships and coaching managers to achieve their goals.
